A Codeforces contestant used o1-mini in a live contest today [removed invalid link from this post] and achieved near master-level performance! Agree with the decision to restrict AI in competition going forwards, and it'll be interesting to see how the contest scene evolves.

The model seems to have struggled a bit and unable to solve three problems

Obviously the model is incredible! but what does master-level performance mean here?! (the user seems to be still in expert after the contest so I'm a bit confused!)

The user gained +158 rating, which was their biggest rating jump in 4 years. You can see the starred virtual participations by masters on the leaderboard. This was also w/ o1-mini and not our contest specialized models.
